Timothy Leadership Training
"TLTI" stands for Timothy Leadership Training Institute, an organization that took root in Africa in the 1990's and has since developed rapidly throughout the world. The mission of Timothy Leadership Training Institute is to train pastors, evangelists and lay leaders, enabling them to build viable and healthy congregations and communities in the spirit of 2 Timothy 2:2, "Entrust what you have heard from me to those who will be qualified to teach others." TLT goals include the growth of faith, generosity and productive work accounted for through regular reporting.
In response to the Ebola crisis in West Africa, TLTI has produced a training guide, Overcoming the Ebola Epidemic. This manual is designed to help people overcome the panic, suspicion and fear that have overrun immediate health concerns in many areas of West Africa (notably Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone). Overcoming the Ebola Epidemic sheds light on the current crisis from the Christian view of creation, brokenness, restoration and hope for the future. In each lesson, participants formulate an action plan to accomplish some practical form of responsible and compassionate Christianity. Currently, TLTI is working to print quantities of this guide and train people who are already familiar with TLT training in the facilitation of this guide.
